Return Policy

We hope you absolutely love your shopping experience with Downtown Chic and that you love your items even more!  We carefully inspect each garment before shipping to our happy clients because we never want to deliver a defective item. In case you are not satisfied with your item please review our return guidelines below. 

Return Guidelines:

• Send an email to returns@dtchic.com before you ship your items                    • A full refund will be provided on returns received within 15 days from the date your order was delivered which doesn't include the original shipping cost.  • Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Sale items are considered FINAL SALE.
• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after receiving your return. We will send you an email confirmation when your return has been processed and when the refund has been issued.
• Refunds are issued back to the original method of payment.
• Returned items must be received unwashed, unworn and in new condition along with the original tags still attached.
• If items are returned to us appearing worn or stained, those items will be shipped back to you and will be subject to additional shipping costs.

How Do I Make A Return?

Returns may be shipped via a carrier of your choice. At this time DTC will not pay for shipping. Mail returns to:

Exchanges (if applicable):

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at returns@dtchic.com and send your item to the address above.  We are a boutique and our stock is limited in sizes.   

Downtown Chic is not responsible for damaged or missing packages that are lost in transit. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
